This year, we want to continue bringing joy to residents and spreading happiness to children in this ward.
To achieve this we need to cover costs incurred, so we are also selling Christmas Trees (at a very reasonable price) to help fund this. Please click here if you'd be interested in buying a Christmas Tree from us!

What's happened until now?
In 2019 we decided to bring Santa to Avonmouth, giving gifts to children. He travelled up and down streets just before Christmas spreading Christmas cheer.
When we realised how popular this was, we decided to include the surrounding villages for 2020. Over the course of three evenings, Santa and his team of volunteers walked over 20 miles handing out over 2000 selection boxes to children in Avonmouth, Lawrence Weston, Sea Mills, Coombe Dingle, Stoke Bishop and Shirehampton.
In 2021 we did it all again, but due to the popularity, the number of gifts handed out each year grew to over 2000. In 2021 we therefore needed to raise extra funds through selling our Christmas Trees, to ensure this was sustainable. Locally sourced from the Mendip Hills and chosen by Santa himself!
We were able to raise enough funds to cover the cost of the gifts and insurance etc alongside generous donations from our supporters and with volunteers selling the Christmas Trees.
In 2022, we tried to keep this momentum going, but unfortunately found that the costs had increased all around, meaning we need to secure more funding to allow us to give out gifts along our travels. We weren't able to secure enough funding to cover gifts for every village. Luckily, many villages rallied around and supported us, meaning we could offer to visit to many more people than we originally thought possible. Thanks to one anonymous donor at the eleventh hour, we managed to visit every village we had visited the year before to give out gifts and allow people to meet Santa.
In 2023, we successfully donated over 2,500 gifts to children in our local villages. Thanks to the generosity of local businesses, we brought joy to thousands of families.
We're doing it all again in 2024, for our 10th Christmas Event, and 6th annual Santa Tours!
