Christmas is coming! Click here to find Santa!
Friday 8th May 1-3pm
join us on Friday May 8th as we celebrate the heroes of WWII.
We were planning on a street closure but unfortunately this will no longer be allowed.
Instead we would like residents to get involved in our Stay at Home Street Party!
All you have to do is decorate the front of your house red white and blue and have a picnic in your front garden, back garden or lounge (hopefully the sun will be out and you can party in your garden as long as it is safe to do so).
We will be hosting a live radio broadcast for you all to tune in and join in. This will be online but accessible on most internet enabled devices. More details to follow.
Avonmouth Community radio is a local station that was a vision for this coming christmas but due the covid outbreak we were forced to cancel our VE Day 75th Celebration Street party on 8th May. With this in mind we decided to bring the station forward to help host the now Stay at home and street party. The idea is to tune in and join the party in your own home as we broadcast music and speeches of the day to relive the sounds that our grandparents would have witnessed in these troubled times. Following this we will play party tunes and take requests and dedications this bank holiday Friday 8th May.
